Manjares de la Tierra specializes in growing, harvesting and selling Black Truffles (Tuber melanosporum) and to a lesser extent Tuber Aestivum.
Based in the village of Sarrión, the heart of Spain’s and Europe’s truffle region, where the rugged soil and warm, temperate climate provide the perfect conditions for truffle cultivation.
They have fresh, frozen and preserved truffles, as well as truffle products including
brandy truffles, truffle slices in extra virgin olive oil, black truffle extra virgin olive oil and a variety of delicious condiments and spreads. Frozen or preserved truffles are ideal for restaurants and hotels looking to consistently offer truffles year-round.
We will taste some of the best products with truffle and discover the secrets of the harvesting procedures at the main black truffle village in Europe.
We will visit Jamones Pastor curing facilities, located in Rubielos de Mora at 929 meters height.
Jamones Pastor is the only DO Teruel Ham and one of the only five Hams in the world made exclusively with sea salt.
PASTOR ham is 100% natural and artisan, made exclusively with sea salt from the Mediterranean Sea, without nitrifiers or additives, colorings or preservatives, which means that each ham has high values of vitamins B1, B6 and B12, as well as natural antioxidants. The hams have a low salt content (0.2g per 100g), without glucose or lactose.

Located in the center of Zaragoza, it is a tourist and gastronomic attraction worth visiting. It is one of the few remaining examples of early 20th-century modernist Spanish market architecture. During the day, you’ll find a modern, lively market, full of regional produce.
We will visit the old-city center of Zaragoza, visiting the colossal Basílica del Pilar, the Stone Bridge, La ”Seo” Cathedral and Mercado Central (Central Market) to visit the market stalls, among others.
We will have dinner at Restaurant Mestiso at the quarter “El Tubo”, full of tapas bars and restaurants, is a nickname given because of the narrowness of its streets.
